Update from yesterday!

Hey peeps, bet ya missed me didn't ya?

Just following on from my blog yesterday.  I was just about to tell you about my spell that went horribly wrong wasn't I?  Well............ I decided to try out a new spell I had found.  We have a Book of Shadows in the caravan, its been handed down by generation to generation.  Every time someone finds a spell that works and is useful they put it into The Book of Shadows for other family members to try for themselves.  Anyway I found this spell that said it could make you more popular and thought what the hell I will give it a try.

Some of the ingredients needed I had never heard of so I decided to improvise!  For instance it said I needed a pinch of wolfs bane, (I don't know what that is!) so I used a few strands of a stray cats fur, well I thought cat, wolf whats the difference?  I improvised quite alot come to think of it!

I mixed the ingredients together in our cauldron/casserole dish and said the incantation.  Next thing I know I have been thrown half way across the room!  Doesn't look as if anything has happened so I put it down to a bad spell.  I decided to get some air as it was really hot in there by now.

I sat on the steps of the caravan in The Whispering Woods, a few people were around walking their dogs and others were jogging, one lady turned and looked at me, she did a double take and ran smack bang into a tree.  When she had composed herself after screaming her lungs out she ran for the hills.  It was at this point I decided I better go look in the mirror.

Took me ages to actually find one, my aunt thinks mirrors are bad luck even before you break one!  Once I had checked myself out in the mirror I started to see the ladies point.  I had cat whiskers and cat ears to match.  It was at this point I started to panic, my aunt has no idea I do spells or am a witch for that matter.  And I really didn't want her to find out this way.

Suddenly there was a knock at the caravan door, I opened it a tiny bit, (didn't want anyone to see me like this).  There standing on my doorstep was the old lady who walks the woods alone at night.  Everyone had either seen or heard her, she was like an urban myth of Hazy Meadows.  You know the kind, stories of her locking kids up and eating them, casting spells under cover of darkness and generally talking to herself!

She looked me up and down and said, "well are you going to invite me in or let me stand here catching my death"?  I quickly moved aside, mouth gaping as I did. 

"So Prudence Brimstone, what was the name of the spell you just did"?...................................

Introduction

Thought it was about time I introduced myself properly and gave you bloggers a bit of background all about little old me!

Hi, I'm Prudence my friends call me Pru.  I live in a town called Hazy Meadows, well technically I don't actually live in the town, I live on the outskirts of The Whispering Wood about a mile from the town.  Anyway that stuff is boring.  On to the good stuff, me!

I live with my Aunt Maud,  she is not really my aunt its just easier to call her that.  She is my mum's best friend from when they were kids.  My parents died when I was very young and, Maud became my guardian.   We live in one of those old fashioned gypsy caravans, you know the kind, all colourful and happy! 

My aunt is a fortune teller and not a very good one at that!.  She likes to think she is good but, the reality is she is really rather rubbish.  I on the other hand am a teenage witch but shhhhhh don't tell my aunt!

I like to do spells, all be it not very good ones, and more often than not they turn into a disaster.  Hey its all part of growing up around here.

I have a pet owl called Pywacket, we think he might be blind coz he keeps flying into trees and stuff.

That's all you are getting from me tonight, I need to clean up the spell I did earlier today, god what a disaster that one was.  Will explain more about that next time.
