How to summon a fairy!!!

I went to my magickal clearing in the middle of the whispering woods last night.  Pywacket sits in a nearby tree and watches me.  I decided to come here to be quiet for a change!

I had been sitting there with my eyes closed, trying to look like I knew how to meditate or something , when I felt someone was watching me.  I slowly opened one eye to see Agatha watching me.

She smiled and walked into the clearing.  I opened my mouth to ask her about the photo but, she stopped me before I could speak.  "I have come here to help you do a spell tonight, nothing more and nothing less".  I instantly shut my mouth!

"Ok", I said, "What spell are we going to do"?.  "What spell would you like to do"?, she replied.  I really had to think about this as I haven't exactly had the best track record with spells as you know.  Eventually I said, "do you know a spell to get a fairy to come and talk to us"?/

"Luckily its nighttime, exactly the right time for this kind of spell to work properly", Agatha said with a smile.

From her pocket she pulled out a spoon, some ginger that had been powdered down and 4 little candles.  One red, yellow, blue and green.  Agatha told me to place the candles in a circle in a compass direction, so the red candle was facing south, blue facing west, yellow facing east and green facing north.  Next to each candle she placed a small crystal.  If you ask me it all looked a bit too complicated!

Agatha stood in the centre of the circle of candles and beckoned me over to join her.  "Now Prudence, I want you to think welcoming thoughts to the fairies", Agatha said.

Suddenly Agatha raised her hands about her head, looking up at the sky and started to chant, "O spirits of plants and earth and trees, o little ones of every form, show yourselves to me.  From me shall come no harm.  Join me in friendship and in love.

Rejoice with me in this magick old, for together with the ancient gods we can re-create all things in gold.  Guardian spirits, watchers fair, our lives are joined.  All things we share"/

Agatha quickly took my hand and led me to the south candle and, together we lit each candle and sprinkled ginger around it while saying, \"All you nymphs and water spirits, hear my call.  Enter this magick circle welcome all.

At first nothing happened and I started to fidget, Agatha told me to be patient.  From somewhere above me I could hear very small tinkling laughter.  I looked up towards the sound and saw the most beautiful lights dancing just above my head.  All the colours of the rainbow seemed to be floating above me, darting and swirling around the air.  I squinted into the colours and saw my very first fairy.  She was beautiful and graceful, everything I imagined a fairy to be really.  She had a tiny little crown of flowers and leaves on her head and long blond flowing hair down her back.  She wore the most pretty dress  it was a kind of emerald green colour.   It looked like it was shimmering and glittering in the moonlight.   When I looked again I could see more of them, there were maybe 4 or 5 little fairy people.  I even saw what I think was a fairy boy.  I wanted to ask them so many questions.  The only thing I could think of was to ask where they came from.  The little fairy with the green dress looked down at me and started to glide around me head.  She sort of talked in a kind of tinkling laughing way.  I really couldn't understand what she said but nodded all the same.

All at once it was over, it was like I was coming to from a dream, Agatha was reaching up to the sky again and chanting, "All thanks and blessed be to those of air, earth, sky and sea.  She started to blow out the candles starting at south and, one by one the fairies disappeared.

"I will never forget this night", I said.  Agatha turned to me and laughed, "Trust me child, this is just the beginning".
