Secrets

It's freezing here in Hazy Meadows, I can't believe it's already October!  Anyway back to the blog.

Agatha looked to me like she needed to say more but, unfortunately right at that moment my aunt Maud came flying through the door.  She stopped dead in her tracks and just stared at Agatha.  Agatha to her credit just stared right back at her defiantly!

It felt like a lifetime but must only have been a minute before I loudly cleared my throat.  They both turned to me  as if noticing me for the first time.  Nobody said anything for a while and then Agatha stammered, "I think I had better go Pru",  "Yes I think you better had", said Aunt Maud.  I felt really weird standing between them, like there was some hidden battle going on just under the surface.

Before I could say anything Agatha had gone.  I looked to my Aunt for an explanation but she just turned on her heel and went to the back of the caravan where her section of the bedroom was.

I ran outside to try and catch up with Agatha but, she was nowhere to be seen.   Feeling very confused and just a little upset I called for Pywacket.

Pywacket knows all my secrets and fears and is sure never to reveal them to anyone else.  Out of the trees came my crazy owl friend.  He perched on a long branch of a tree near my head and blinked at me as if waiting for me to begin.

It was now I realised I really needed some friends in human form!

Bright Blessings
