I then realised how much trouble I could be in.  I was in the woods, alone, at night.  Thoughts of horror films swam in my head making me panic even more.  I think I even started to imagine things that weren't there too.  I could have sworn whatever that thing was it was behind me while I ran through the trees.   I could hear something behind me and it was defo heavy.  I could almost feel it's breath in my hair.   I kept having visions of me falling over a log or something and it catching me up, I am clumsy at the best of times let alone when being chased by a huge furry thing!
When I thought I couldn't hear it anymore I stopped to take a breath.  Then I looked around me, I really didn't recognise this part of the woods, I remember thinking this can't be good!  The trees were much denser here and everything looked more sinister and threatening.  I don't think I had ever been this far in the woods before.
Suddenly through the trees I could hear someone singing.  I walked towards the sound but couldn't work out where the sound was coming from.  I also realised how long I had been out and knew Aunt Maud would be worried, so I headed back the way I had come.  Somehow I managed to find my way back.
Aunt Maud was sitting on the steps of the caravan when I got home, oh dear this doesn't look good!!!!!
